Check the profile of the pet you're interested in to see which shelter they are staying at, then visit us during our open hours listed below. Your application will be kept on file. Please note that your application does not reserve the pet or your place in line. Pets in the shelter are adopted on a first come, first serve basis. Open Hours.

2. If, after visiting us, you are interested in a pet, you can fill out our adoption application. 3. Next, someone from Pets In Need will need to visit your home. 4. If you are approved and pay the adoption fee, you can take your new pet home! 5. New pets need to be taken to a veterinarian within two weeks. Additional Adoption Information.

OPIN (Outreach to Pets in Need) is an all-volunteer registered (c)(3) non-profit. Our mission is to promote adoption of homeless animals, and to provide assistance to pets in need through medical treatment, training, and education. We are in the Stamford, CT area.
